A friend of mine reminded me today about self-worth. And I happen to remember a story that I’ve read before. I hope this message can inspire someone too.

Hi Angelicaaaaaaaaa, if you’re reading this, arigatoppa! Thank you very much, because of your kind words, I was saved from myself.

To anyone out there, never stop believing in yourself. Everyone have their own struggles, some can handle it better than others, and some can’t fight on their own. If you think you are the latter, please, don’t be afraid to approach anyone you can trust. I too am here for you, talk to me, email me, tell me everything and let’s both figure out how to win.

Credits to the original owner of the story. I revised it to how I remembered it. Sorry. #knowyourworth

Story

A father before he died said to his son:
“This is a watch that your grandfather gave, and this is more than 200 years old. But before I give it to you, I want you to go to the watch shop on the first street, and tell him that I want to sell it, and ask how much it is”.

He went then came back to his father:
“The watchmaker said he’d buy it for 5 dollars because it’s old”.

His father said to him:
“Go to the coffee shop and ask the same”.

He again went to the coffee shop and received the same answer:
“He said he’d buy it for 5 dollars father”.

His father replied:
“Now, go to the museum and show that watch. Ask them how much they’d but it”.

He went then came back, and said to his father:
“They are willing to offer me a million dollars for this piece”.

The father then said:
“I wanted to let you know that the right place and right people knows and values your value, don’t put yourself in the wrong place and get angry if you don’t. Those who knows your value are those that appreciates you. Don’t stay in a place that doesn’t suit you”.

Know your worth.

Share it with your friends or your family! They need to know that they also have their own value.

We just need to be extra careful though. Knowing your worth is a big step but some people can be too arrogant and or have too much ego that they tend to overvalue themselves.

Remember, I am your father… char (=^_^=). But yeah, your worth your standards. Just don’t ever think that you are worthless.

Thank you!
